I wish I could rollover to someone with a familiar body. A touch I know as both comforting and welcoming. That I could lean over and gently plant kisses on their nose and cheeks as they sleep to say, “thank you”.  I wish they would slide their arm around my waist and find my hand to lock their fingers with mine. There is something so incredibly beautiful about two people sleeping next to one another. So much vulnerability. Existing together separately in their slumber.
